Extra Curricular activities after school hours can e fun. Especailly if they are a disco just for kids. Each year a spart of fundraising the children raise the roof twice a year dancing to their favourite songs. |

| Each yaer the Year 5 & 6s perform a full scale musical. Each one usually contains a message about living better and learning to get along in a fun and colourful setting. Seen here is the 2009 cast of Sqwark. | Classroom activities often involve testing out hypotheses. There is never a dull moment in a PLPS classroom. there is always opportunity to test ideas, apply math and literacy skills and work cooperatively with each other. |
As pasrt of enriching students learning by bring real life experiences into the classroom we invited the CSIRO into Year 1 & 2 to help children get close up and personal with minibeasts. Here the children are experiencing life through a bees eye. | ||||

| This year, 2009, saw our school installed an interactive whiteboard in every classroom. They enhance instruction which makes learning more engaging and interactive across all curriculum areas. | Prep teacher Mrs Carmona tests out a witches brew to the astonishment of her students. | Professor Bunsen entertained as well as opened the minds of our students to the world of science in an Incursion. Many budding Pattp Scientsists got to understand why some of their own classroom experiments didn't quite go right! Others were inspired to try some more! | We are very proud that we have cut our water consumption by 60% since we installed a number of water Tanks. With the grants from SWEP we have installed water tanks to collect storm water and then use this to flush our toilets. We have been apart of the SEW Hydoshare project. | To celebarte the learning unit, 'Travelling 'round Victoria', Year 3 students pictured above, took a ride on Puffing Billy through the Dandenong Ranges. Excursions form an extension of classroom learning. Excursions are conducted at all Year levels and compliment the learning done at school. | ||||
